Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope since 1971

Four decades ago, Second Harvest was founded as a central warehouse for a handful of emergency food pantries in Spokane. Today, partnerships with 250 food banks and meal centers make it possible for Second Harvest to provide food to more than 40,000 hungry people each week in Spokane and the Inland Northwest. Second Harvest distributes more than 1.7 million pounds of donated food each month, which helps fill the nutritional gap for our neighbors in need.
