Board Chair Challenge

Funds raised during Taking a Bite Out of Hunger help provide nutritious food to those in need all year long. We invite you to participate in our Board Chair Challenge to meet the Spokane House of Hose and Air Electric matching challenge to help ensure kids are fed this summer. We are over 50% of the way to achieving this goal and need your generous support in order for the full match to be realized and feed more hungry kids.

Taking a Bite out of Hunger ticket holders who pledge $250 or more right now to the Board Chair Challenge are invited to a VIP reception on the night of the event in the Numerica Credit Union suite at the Spokane Arena. The reception, hosted by Board Chair and Numerica Credit Union CEO Carla Cicero, will include other Second Harvest Board members and generous partners.

We welcome gifts from those unable to attend The Bite who would still like to help us meet the $30,000 match goal.
